Alicia Dickerson is a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Portland, OR. She photographs in the Pacific Northwest and travels for destination weddings. She believes in capturing the true spirit of the moment and her photos reflect an impeccable sense of timing. Alicia Dickerson grew up in a family of artists surrounded by photography, painting, sculpture and stained glass. As a child she remembers adventures with her dad on weekends to take photos of anything interesting: old barns, nature, city lights. All of her photos reflect this background, knowledge and love of fine art. She pays particular attention to composition, color, concept and emotion. She received her formal schooling from UC Santa Cruz and The Rocky Mountain School of Photography.

At weddings she also carries a Lowell ID video light, 2 Canon speedlights and pockets wizards to fire the speedlights off the camera (and an assistant to help carry it all!). In the studio she uses Hensel monolights and Dynalights.
